Well there is a lot coming in general, not just entry car level. Surely some of the 1er ideas will become Minis instead of BMWs.

What's these ? Did scott mention them ? And Tine when Scott talks about M1, did he mean a motorsport version of 2 series or 1 series ?

He once mentioned RR coupe - based on a small RR limo.
X4 was an idea a time ago (some magazines reported about it), but they opted for X6 - a bigger & pricey SAC. But it's not impossible to revive X4 again, especially if X6 proves to be a hit. Remember X5 success, followed by an introduction of smaller X3.

Scott said there will certainly be M versions of coupe and cabrio, but it's still not decided how those cars will be badged - 1-series or 2-series. Thus not knowing yet about M1 or M2 label.

Keep in mind these are ideas... they probably won't all go into production.

1e/2er will 100% be offered in:

3-door hatch
5-door hatch
2-door coupe
2-door cabrio

2-door Touring Coupe (aka Shooting Brake) is still not 100% decided, while sedan, Touring, roadster have been axed.

The other models I listed are 100% going into production, while the ones "in consideration" have a 50:50 chances.

Note to Tine:

This is what Scott mentions, and hardly official or 100% confirmed.

For instance, why on earth would BMW give us a normally aspirated I6 @ 3.5 liters, when europe is getting the turbo charged version? Not only does this not make sense cost wise for the company, but also America is extremely power hungry when it comes to hp.
